Ruby colour with young hints of violet. Inviting, aromatic aromas of cherries violets and a fresh hint of citrus. Juicy, rich but finetuned taste with hints of sweet prunes and candied violets. Some peppery varietal character, but mostly clean fruit, typical from a perfect vintage, which also gives a slightly more moderate alcohol level. A perfect version of melnik made for long life in the cellar. Melnik is a local grape named after a village close to the vineyard.
